Honoring a Legacy
Heartfelt Resources was the vision of Christine Evon Ellis, a passionate community activist and dedicated resident of Rahway, New Jersey. In early 1994, Christine organized a group of local residents to launch programs aimed at personal development and the advancement of their community. Through her unwavering commitment, she raised awareness and sparked the attention of city officials, ultimately creating a lasting impact in the Rahway community that has been felt even after her passing in 2015. In honor of her legacy, Christine’s daughter, Deirdre Ellis, has continued her mother’s mission with the same passion for helping others. Deirdre has dedicated herself to touching lives and building stronger, more resilient communities, carrying forward the heart and vision that her mother began. Join us in honoring Christine's legacy by continuing her work to strengthen communities with heartfelt love and dedication. Together, we can sustain a lasting impact in the lives of others!
